Yoneco Evans

Program Manager
As a member of the training and professional development team, Yoneco Evans designs and facilitates professional development workshops for afterschool practitioners.  She has nearly ten years experience in the areas of youth development, education, and family outreach. Prior to joining the Center for Afterschool Education, she worked with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to develop and implement comprehensive educational programming for Boys & Girls Clubs in high-risk communities nationwide. Yoneco holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and is completing a certification in Family Literacy.  She also contributed a chapter to the text Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for At-Risk Youth: Volume II.
