Quality-Building
Quality Matters
Research shows that high quality programs attract—and keep—children and youth. High quality programs are effective programs, providing children with the supports they need to learn and grow.
The Center for Afterschool Education works with organizations and leaders to develop, plan, promote, and sustain quality-building strategies and systems. We provide training, tools, and technical assistance that build on program and staff strengths to reach the program goals, whether you are working with elementary, middle, or high school students. We take a capacity-building approach, so program leaders can continue to monitor and sustain effective programming in the face of change.
The Center also works with organizations and networks to develop sustainable strategies for quality-building across large multi-site programs, in state systems, and field-wide.
